The Be with Me Playseum is an indoor facility mixing education and creative play. Families head down the stairs into a ready-made kid adventure, with room after room of fun things to do. There is a sandbox, construction toys, a firetruck, a room full of small animals (bunnies, birds, etc.) that the kids can touch, dress up – with nail polish, a kitchen, a grocery store, an “outdoor” area, painting and other crafts, and books, books, books. There are also a couple of separate play areas for babies and toddlers, a snack-eating room, and a large “living room” complete with couches, chairs, a foosball table, drum set, and shelves of books from babies though adult. Regular events include storytimes and face painting.
Metered street parking available along Wisconsin Ave and in a parking lot across the street from us. Entrances for the lot are on Walsh St. and Leland St. from Wisconsin Avenue.

On a dirty part of the town, using a dingy small basement, divided into 10 small rooms. 2 rabbits, some toys not much different from ones at toys r us… two restrooms, and we are all set…. Playmuseum… Absolutely no maintainence, no air freshening… Parking is a headache…. Ive been to many playzones, as I feel these are ideal for chilling out with kids. Usually they have a parking area in close premises. Thinking so, I forgot my stroller…. In this part of town, parking accessible for more than 2 hours is a walk of 5 – 10 minutes, on the other side of the road….
A loving mother, even one on a tight budget would keep far from such a place… U get better playtime for free from a good public library… I am a working mother and see these outings as a way to chill with my kids. This visit spoilt my day.
