The City of Rockville Skate Park is a one-of-a-kind skate park. This customized park was recently renovated with input from local skaters. The park was built and is operated by the City of Rockville Department of Recreation and Parks. Features include:

* 24 foot wide, 4 foot tall mini-ramp.
* 3 foot to 4 foot tall, 20 foot wide micro ramp with escalator and extension.
* 2 hubba ledges, 3-set, 5-set
* Euro-gap
* Pyrmaid
* Quarter pipes, rails, funboxes, and manual pads.

Rockville Skate Park

Enjoy a fun camp for skateboarders and in-line skaters. Learn grinds, air, invert, street and vert while skating in your own park with a Pro. Required equipment: skates, skateboard, helmet, knee and elbow pads, wrist guards and in-line skates with H block and guard plates. For beginner, intermediate, street, and aggressive skaters and boarders. This camp is presented by American In-Line, a dedicated team of Professional Skateboard and In-Line Skate Instructors committed to taking skaters further while promoting fun and safety. All skaters must wear a helmet, elbow pads, wrist guards, and knee pads.

  • This park rocks and little kids need to stay out of the way because they could get hurt. This is a place a skate and skating is rough. This is not a place for eight year olds to blindly walk around, they could get hurt. …If you can’t skate with the big dogs, get off the ramp.

  • This park is unsupervised and most of the kids are not paying any attention to the rules. They bring in bikes and scooters and the smaller kids on skateboards have a difficult time because of this. And then there is the name-calling by the older kids to the smaller kids, like “small kids are little f—kers. We will go to Gaithersburg to skateboard from now on. The City of Rockville is a joke.
