Caledon Natural Area
Caledon Natural Area consists of 2,579 acres with 5 forest trails open year round. Boyd’s Hole Trail leads to the Potomac River. Boyd’s Hole trail is open from October 1 through March 31 and closed the remainder of the year. This is to ensure that the eagles nesting along the river are given a greater chance of survival. Caledon offers numerous programs throughout the year and invites you to take advantage of these programs. Take some time away from the hustle and bustle of your busy life and enjoy a hike or a picnic or even an educational program. If you love the outdoors and all that it entails, breathe in some fresh air and just relax the day away at Caledon.
