The Russian Cultural Centre (RCC) is the official home of Russian Culture in the United States. RCC’s primary goal is to help develop and foster positive relations between the US and Russia in the 21st century and beyond. The center provides cultural, humanitarian, and language programs for Russians and Americans alike, hosting a series of art exhibitions, concerts, film series, language courses, and more throughout the year. There are also three libraries on site, which feature a wide variety of books, music, and films. In addition to the Russian Language kids’ club, RCC operates a five-day-a-week, full-time playgroup for children ages two to four. The main goal is to teach children Russian language, its culture, and literature in a comfortable and family-style atmosphere. Throughout the day only Russian is spoken while engaging children in activities such as storytime, arts and crafts, nature studies, physical exercise, and outdoor play. Contact contact us at rcc@rccusa.org or 202.265.3840 for more information. A Russian after-care program for children ages five to 10 is also offered Monday through Friday from 3:30pm to 7pm.
